Hey Pedro, here's the brief for your photographer for file sizing and all that, please show him the guidelines, will save us time..we've received some crappy pictures that we just couldn't use...thanx 

            Image guidelines for photographers: main calendar

              a.. 300 dpi 
              b.. A3 portrait spiral bound

              c.. all photos are indoors or outside on location, just no studio shots and must be related to couriering..make it fun or make it deep, show us your city. 
              d.. not limited to seasons 
              e.. color format is full color CMYK, no black and white 
              f.. dimensions are height: width:27 cm  height:27 cm.The picture will be square so be aware that depending on whether you shooting portrait or landscape there will be one side cropped.

              g.. every photographer should do their own color correction or image retouching. Images submitted should be ready for print. 

            Deadline for phase 1: End of September

              a.. this deadline is for quantity each country wants (tell us roughly how many calendars you will need)) 
              b.. this will determine how many sponsors are needed 
              c.. which month the country prefers to slot into 
              d.. ideas for shots need to be presented so there is no overlap of ideas 
              e.. who is taking the picture 
              f.. who is going to be in the picture

              g.. any questions or issues ask?!

            Deadline for phase 2: mid-October

              a.. contact sheets. (We then have 2 weeks to re-shoot, re-touch or decide on pictures.) 
              b.. send us top 3 pictures on  the contact sheet-these can be smaller jpegs just for selection process. These can be emailed to: londoncourieremergencyfund en gmail.com

              c.. list of confirmed sponsors if any.
            Deadline for phase 3: End of October

                   * send final picture,colour corrected,ready for printing...pictures will be integrated to the calendar and design finalised.
                   * send logos for confirmed sponsors.

            Deadline for phase 4: Mid November

              a.. print deadline
            Deadline for phase 5: 

              a.. dispatching

    i put the word out there for the new courier calendar...last year, you sent us that picture a bit too late but what about trying again
    this year?

Greeting from London*,**It's that time of the year, calendar time...the European Courier Calendarwas a cracking success last year, we raised over £5000 so we would like todo another one this year but go WORLDWIDE so if you're interested in taking

part, carry on reading....*the London Courier Emergency Fund, which raises fund for injured couriers,designed and printed a European naked courier calendar last year to raisecash for the fund. We printed 750 copies and raised about £ 5000.

It was good fun for all involved and very popular with our fellow couriers,friends and family so we would like to print another one this year but makeit a worldwide version, where messenger cities from all continents send us

one picture representing their city and their community.All pictures must be at professional standard and if possible not includetoo many riders (so no group shot please)...we would like to carry on withthe naked theme but as we want to be able to sell it to the wider public,

keep it decent.If there are more than 12 cities wanting to take part then we will havesome sort of selection and choose the best 12 pictures, i also want tostress that if your picture is not to standard, we will not accept it. Most

pictures in our previous calendars were taken by couriers who are alsoprofessional photographers and the calendar itself was designed and puttogether by an exenger friend who's now a graphic designer.

Once you have sent us your picture, we will sort out designing and printing
as well as dispatching thru a local London courier company.Last year, the entire cost of printing and designing was covered bysponsors brought by each participating city so although not compulsory, itwould be greatly appreciated if every city bring a cash sponsor (courier

company, bike shop or other) to the project. All sponsors and their logowill be included in the calendar. Sponsorship for each city should beroughly £200/£250 depending on how many calendars we will print.

Every courier and photographer taking part in this project will receive afree calendar.The proceeds from the sale of the calendar will be split between the LondonCourier Emergency Fund, the Warsaw Fund and the Bicycle Messenger Emergency

Fund. We would also like to make a donation toward the organisation of theECMC and CMWC.The (official) deadline to send us your pictures is the end of October sowe'll have time to work on the calendar and ideally one person in each city

would be in touch with us to make exchange and communication easier.So if you are interested in taking part, get in touch and we'll give allnecessary details regarding pictures sizing, files and all that.

Please, give us a rough idea of what your picture will be so we can makesure no 2 cities have the same idea and we want some GIRLS, i know somecities don't have many girls on the road but if you have any, get them to
