[gugs] Re: gnome error

siguiendo con mis apetés y mis gnomés, he actualizado algunos paquetes de gnome e instalado algunos que no tenía instalado (gnome-core y otros) y tengo dos problemas que no sé resolver, a ver si os suenan. (lo de usar el bugtrack es algo que no me entero :(

Pues el caso es que cuando voy a arrancar las x, gnome se queda en el gestor de ventanas
sawfish y sale un aviso de:
"Ha ocurrido un error al iniciar el gestor de preferencias de GNOME
Algunas preferencias como los temas, sonidos o fondo de pantalla puede
que no funcionen correctamente.
El gestor de preferencias se ha reiniciado demasiadas veces.
El último mensaje de error fue:
No se ha podido activar "OAFIID:GNOME_SettingsDaemon"
GNOME seguirá intentando reiniciar el gestor de preferencias la próxima
vez que ingrese"
